I just picked up The Sexy Brutale for $25. It was half price. I only looked into it recently and to my extreme joy, it's similar to some of may faves like Chulip and Gregory Horror Show. It also has that quirky Grim Fandango/The Nightmare before Christmas feel. I won't be playing it until a bit later because I have other stuff but I'm really looking forward to it.

Also bought Velocity 2x recently which is high scoring greatness, Nex Machina physical from Limited Run, and waiting for GoW collection in the mail.

For 3DS I grabbed Luigi's Mansion 2 and Starfox 64. Haven't touched any of this stuff yet. I think I'll save it all for Christmas.

As for plans, got Okami PS4 on the 12th, and I'm also adding Loco Roco 1&2 to that order. For those who don't know, they were originally on PSP. I used to have the first one and loved it. Here's the PS4 trailer.

Still waiting for EW2. I'll likely get GoW Ascension, PSP GoW PS3 versions and GoW3 PS4 version(I have the PS3 copy already).

I mentioned considering getting Darksiders soon. Well, one of my friends has both on PS4 so he's going to let me borrow the first one. If I end up really liking it I'll buy it, but honestly I don't think I will.

Sexy Brutale is pretty cool.

I'm not planning on buying any new games recently... I've gotten a bit jaded with triple-A lately. Meanwhile, I have a big pile of weird & lesser known PS2 games and PS3 games just waiting to be tried out...

I also dont find much of the recent stuff worth my time. I spend most of my time with PS2/PS3 or other older consoles.

Just bought Dead Nation.

Wow that title takes me back, was one of the first PSN titles I bought. Really fun twin-stick shooter! Especially with co-op!

I didnt even know it was made by Housemarque. I love Nex Machina, Resogun and Matterfall. Will try Alienation when I have time.

As for DN, I played through on normal and only died a few times mist due to that big blade handed guy because I had no idea he was just ahead.

The game loves to send a horde at you from the front to try to get you to focus on them, then sends another from behind. I'd be dead a billion times over if it wasn't for flares and landmines.

Okami HD and Loco Roco 1&2 are due to arrive any day now. I plan to get RE7 Gold Edition too but for some reason I can't find it here even though it's past its release date. My guess is the stores here are hiding it because they have the vanilla RE7s on discount for the Christmas sale. Dodgy pricks.

Still playing Ninja Gaiden Black and The Evil Within 2, really loving both games!

Bought Wipeout Omega Collection and Metroid Samus Returns. Both were on sale.

I'm not a huge racing game fan, but that's only if they're realistic or boring. I like the ones that are crazy with weapons and stuff like Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing.

Never actually got into Wipeout before. I've played the original but back then didn't care for it. The collection looks amazing with huge replay value, There's tons of unlockables and stuff but mainly the skill required and online if it's still active.

Also bought the Pikmin amiibo for the 3DS game. Will buy the actual game later.

Sit your ass down, and play it. You don't have to do challenge runs or whatever, and games like Ninja Gaiden promote item use, and you should use them, so just have fun. It's a really fun game to play, even today. Just toy around with the weapons, the abilities and the items and enjoy one of the best action games still to grace our consoles to this very day.

There was a good sale, managed to snag these:

- new PS3 controller (4 euro)
- new WiiU Pro Controller (10 euro)
- Cursed Crusade (x360 - 12 euro)
- Remember Me (x360 - 11 euro)

Pretty good deals! NL only sadly.

Just got RE:Revelations 1-2 for PS4, had them on PS3. Really love Claire's unlockable costume, the crimson red shirt with a shoulder gun harness reminiscent of Leon in RE4. That and I really like gals with short hair.

Did you also get the costumes in the DLC? Pretty ... nifty haha.

Yeh the costumes are neat, not for me I love Claire's sniper costume, looks like a fem-Leon of sorts, professional bio-hunter or something. The vivid crimson shirt and short hair add a lot for me.

You mean this one?

Damn straight! Should have been the default but that would have made her wearing it for the final boss have less impact.

I played this like 2 years ago and found it decent. I like how each character had a unique gameplay element.

Never finished it though, and at this point I have zero idea what's actually going on in the story. Don't know what those ooze things are.

Back then I noticed it had a bit of DLC. Was there ever a complete edition?

View user profile
Yes, a complete physical edition exists with all the DLC.

The lanky black monsters are ouroboros experiments from said virus samples that the villain of Revelations 2 has.

What's Raid mode all about? I never played that mode. I saw a video though an it looks like some kind of RPG mode with level ups and loot.

Think mercenaries, but then that you can level up your character, weapons and other things to just keep the addiction going. You unlock new areas, enemies can get really weird random buffs (like elements, or speed boosts etc) and more. Very addicting and really puts the combat first which is awesome.

Sounds decent. How grindy though?

You can just keep playing, some of the harder missions will have you praying for ammo and running away in fright of this way too strong enemy (missions are timed) while others see you powerhouse through. But the harder ones do give better rewards.
The grind isn't really there, you just play and play and feel rewarded for keeping on going.

Just found a used copy of Phantom Hourglass in perfect condition. This was a shock because old games are impossible to find here now.

View user profile
Oh! I never played that one, you? If so, did you like it?

Never. Havent tried it yet but looked at some vids it seems like a mini version of WW. You have the boat and character design. Only difference is the camera when running around.
